Our Story
Ohenewaa, also known as O.H., is a wife and mother of two teenage boys. She is a physician by training.
O.H. was born and raised in Ghana and came to the U.S. for college. She comes from a family of artists,
and she studied art in secondary school. However, her medical training and career took her away from
art until recently when she decided to go back to her creative roots.
Beads have always fascinated her since childhood when her maternal grandmother used to make waist beads for her. Beads from Ghana are handmade by an interesting process which makes each bead unique. O.H. loves interesting pieces of jewelry, and beads from Ghana, because they lend themselves to endless creativity.
